Andelu est une commune du département des Yvelines, dans la région Île-de-France, en France, située à 15 km environ au sud-est de Mantes-la-Jolie. Les habitants sont appelés les Andelusiens. Le nom d'Andelu dériverait d'un terme gaulois, andel, bifurcation.
