Description de Paros
Paros est une île grecque de la mer Égée, à l'ouest de Naxos dans l'archipel des Cyclades. Elle est la troisième île des Cyclades par sa superficie, et le principal carrefour maritime. Paros tiendrait son nom de Paros, chef des Arcadiens qui s'y installèrent vers le X e siècle av. J.-C. . Paros est la patrie d'origine d'Archiloque et de Polygnote.
