Tipperary (en irlandaisTiobraid Árann) est une ville située au sud ouest du Comté de Tipperary en Irlande. Elle compte à peu près 5 000 habitants. La ville a été fondée au Moyen Âge. Elle prend de l'importance sous le règne du roi John. La ville a été un emplacement utilisé par l'armée anglaise qui y a construit de grands baraquements 50 ans avant l'indépendance de l'Irlande. Tipperary abritait un hôpital militaire pendant la première guerre mondiale.
